CHF's program in the largest public works project in the Petit-Goave region. The income generated from the CHF program is especially welcome in the region because banks have still not opened in Petit-Goave following the 12 January earthquake and cash is extremely scarce.

Since 2006, CHF has been implementing the US$104 million KATA job creation and public works program for USAID in 5 regions of Haiti, including Petit-Goave. In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake, CHF is uniquely placed to quickly launch and manage new job creation and public works projects in not only the Petit-Goave area, but also neighboring Grand Goave and Leogane.
